Program Name: VA Diabetes Boot Camp
Address: VAMC, 5500 Armstrong Rd., Battle Creek, MI
Comprehensive individualized diabetes management program involving a complete team of health care providers meeting with patients every other Monday from 1-4pm for 12 weeks.

Hillsdale CHC Free Diabetes Clinic, 30 S Howell, Hillsdale
is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00-4:00pm and provides
-Individual consultation by a Certified Diabetes Educator
-Monthly Diabetes Education on third Wednesday of month from 6:00-7:00pm
-Offers educational programs to schools, worksites and human service organizations
-Community wellness and prevention programs

Amputee Support Group
  • First Tuesday of each month 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Orthotics and Prosthetics Center.
  • This is a non-profit Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) member support group. The group's goal is to help amputees, people with limb loss, and their families cope with the initial shock of loss by helping them regain their life through compassion, education, and encouragement. 
  • Most support meetings have a presentation that lasts about an hour.  After the presentation there is discussion and sharing of information. Light refreshments are served.

Low Vision Support Group
Join Our Living with Low Vision Group Each monthly meeting will feature a guest speaker and discussion for individuals with low vision.  This group is for adults with low vision and their family members or escort.
When: Second Wednesday of each month;  2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
